DESCRIPTION:The Becker Friedman Institute for Economics in China (BFI-China) and the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) co-hosted a conference with the theme of “Opportunities and Challenges for China and Beyond” on November 17-18\, 2023 at the Francis and Rose Yuen Campus in Hong Kong. \nThe conference explored how China’s sectoral opportunities and challenges intersect with global dynamics\, including but not limited to economic growth\, fintech\, international finance\, and environment.
