SUMMARY:Catalyzing an Evidence-Based Movement for Scale
DESCRIPTION:Titus Syengo is the Managing Director of Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) Africa. Incubated by J-PAL Africa and Pratham\, TaRL is a new team focused solely on working with partners to scale this evidence-based approach across the African continent. TaRL Africa works towards scale by collaborating directly with governments\, supporting partners that are working with governments\, and working with nimble NGOs directly implementing the approach. They pair their scale work with continuous testing and monitoring\, including running learning labs to incubate new innovations to address design challenges. \nJoin us for a discussion about the lessons TaRL has learned as it tries to bridge the gap between evidence and action. \n\n \nTitus Syengo\, TaRL Africa’s Managing Director. He drives the mission and strategy of TaRL Africa and oversees all programmes\, ensuring scale up of the TaRL approach to millions of primary school children in Africa. He is responsible for building a collaborative\, unified TaRL Africa team working effectively across multiple countries to achieve our goal of supporting education systems. \n
