SUMMARY:Women in Macro Conference
DESCRIPTION:The second annual Women in Macro Conference brought together influential women economists from around the world working in the field of macroeconomics\, broadly defined. The objective of the conference is to feature the high-quality work of women in a field in which they are significantly under-represented. It provided participants an informal venue to strengthen their research\, build their network\, and receive mentoring\, particularly to women at early stages of their careers. This year\, the conference also included an international policy panel featuring women macro-economists who work or have worked for central banks and other governmental institutions. The conference was organized with support of the Becker Friedman Institute by Marina Azzimonti (Stony Brook University)\, Alessandra Fogli (Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis)\, and Veronica Guerrieri (University of Chicago\, Booth School of Business). \nClick here for the full list of attendees.
